LIAM BOYD – BFI FILM ACADEMY SCOTLAND RESIDENTIAL

Without the residential I wouldn’t be where I’m at now. The residential gave me the opportunity to get hands on experience with equipment for filming and teaching that I couldn’t find anywhere else. It also provided me with the experience that allowed me to go on and create my own films and progress to university. One of the best things about the program was the friends and connections I made. Even after the residential you’ll still meet up with those on the course and better yet, you’ll go on to work on their future projects and they will return the favour. I can safely say that without the course I would not be studying film at university and would not have anywhere near as good a network of filmmakers I can call on for support. Thanks BFI and all the team at Screen Ed!
