Dumbiedykes a Community Worth Preserving

A collaborative video made with the Salt of the Earth local history group in Edinburgh's Dumbiedykes estate. A mixture of council housing in the heart of Old Edinburgh by the new Scottish Parliament. Using a mixture of interviews and historical footage, this programme tells the story of the community, from overcrowded tenements, to high rise living at the start of the millennium.
