Screen Education Edinburgh are pleased to announce the beginning of a new Adult Learning Programme, starting February 2019, offering creative opportunities to anyone over the age of 21.

Introduction to Short Filmmaking

Over the course of 8 weeks, you can learn the basics of how to make a short film, including writing a screenplay, camera, directing, sound recording and editing.

Course starts Saturday 2nd February, 10am – 5pm

Introduction to Screenwriting

A 10-week course aimed at all levels of experience, from complete beginner and upwards, where you will learn how to take your own ideas and craft them into a finished short screenplay.

Course starts Tuesday 4th February, 7pm – 9pm

Introduction to Film Studies

Over 10 weeks, learn about filmmaking techniques, how they have been applied by other filmmakers, and the history of cinema over the past century.

Course starts Friday 7th February, 7pm – 9pm

If you’ve always wanted to get involved with filmmaking then these courses offer the perfect way in for beginners and for anyone looking to develop a creative voice. Each course costs £150 with 25% concessions available. All our courses are created to be affordable and are open to everyone.

We accept various forms of payment, by credit/debit card (via a PayPal link we will send), bank transfer or cheque.
