Lifelong Learning Development Officer (Screen Education Edinburgh)
Salary: £34,234-£40,903 (Pro-rata for part time)
This is an exciting opportunity be part of the new Lifelong Learning Service of which the development of Screen Education Edinburgh is part. This post has a citywide remit and sits within the newly formed Creativity, Health and Wellbeing Team. Screen Education Edinburgh (SEE) is looking for a Development Officer.
Working alongside our Lifelong Learning Development Officer overseeing the creative development of the organisation, this new post will oversee SEE’s development in the areas of youth work and employability. Both post holders will be jointly responsible for the successful management of the organisation.
If you are passionate about screen education and young people, and want to make a difference to some of the city’s most disadvantaged young people then we would like to hear from you. SEE are looking for someone who is committed to developing strong relationships locally and nationally, dynamic, with experience in leading and developing others in a team setting and taking the organisation forward. Experience in fundraising and financial management is also required.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
