Job Vacancy – Facilities Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who loves camera/sound equipment and editing. The Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting everything that goes on at SEE. You get your hands on some fantastic equipment and you ensure that all our facilities are up to scratch for the large programme of work we produce. In the edit suite you get to wrestle with AVID, mastering our programmes and supporting the wider team across our education and production output.

RESPONSIBLE TO: PROJECT MANAGER
PURPOSE OF JOB
This is a critical role within the organisation, working closely with the administrator, to ensure the smooth running and administration of the facilities.
MAJOR TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
The principal duties to be covered are:
- Facilities booking, hire, maintenance and building tasks.
- Maintenance of edit systems and media management tasks of the organisation.
- Provision of equipment support for the organisation.
- To assist learners, where appropriate, in the use of equipment
- Any other relevant tasks
EDUCATION/ VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
The post holder should be able to demonstrate strong computer, literacy and numeracy skills. A knowledge of digital filmmaking equipment and editing programmes, including Avid, are essential.
An HND or above in a related creative subject is desirable.
HOURS AND RATE
Twenty hours per week, times to be agreed.
